WTFuse
Privacy Policy
Last revised: May 16, 2026
1. What this is
WTFuse is a daily element-fusion game. This policy explains what data we collect when you play, why we collect it, and the third parties we share it with. By using WTFuse you agree to the handling described here.

2. Data we collect directly
- Account info: if you sign in with Google or Apple, we receive the email address and display name those services provide. We use it to put your name on the leaderboard and to keep your daily progress synced across devices. We never receive your password.
- Game session data: the elements you craft, your daily-challenge progress, time taken, and step count. Stored in our database so you can resume and so the leaderboard works.
- Discovered combinations: when you discover a new element pair, the inputs and result are saved in a shared cache. This means the next player who tries the same pair gets an instant result instead of triggering another AI call. We do not attribute discoveries to a specific player publicly.
- Purchase history: if you subscribe to Pro, your subscription status and renewal events are stored so we can grant Pro features.
3. Data collected automatically
- Device identifier (IDFA): collected only if you grant tracking permission via Apple's ATT prompt. Used by advertising SDKs to measure ad performance.
- Device + OS info: model name, iOS version, language, country. Used for diagnostics and aggregate analytics.
- App usage events: launches, sessions, level/challenge starts and completions, screen views, crashes. Used to fix bugs and improve gameplay.
- Ad-interaction events: rewarded ad impressions and completions. Used to validate reward grants and measure ad network performance.
4. Third parties we share data with
Each of the following SDKs processes specific data on our behalf and has its own privacy policy.
- Apple (Sign in with Apple, App Store IAP) — authentication, purchase processing. Apple Privacy Policy
- Google (Sign-In, AdMob, Firebase Analytics & Crashlytics) — authentication, ad delivery, app analytics, crash reporting. Google Privacy Policy
- RevenueCat — subscription billing orchestration. RevenueCat Privacy
- Adjust — install attribution + ad spend measurement. Adjust Privacy
- Meta (Facebook) — install attribution + advertising signals. Meta Privacy
- GameAnalytics — game-funnel analytics. GameAnalytics Privacy
- Anthropic — Claude AI evaluates novel element combinations on first discovery. The combination inputs (two element names) and the resulting name + emoji are processed by Anthropic. No personal data is ever sent. Anthropic Privacy
5. Children's privacy
WTFuse is rated for teens and older. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13 (under 16 in some regions). If you believe we have, email us at the address above and we will delete the record.
6. Your rights
You can:
- Decline ad tracking when prompted, or revoke it later via Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
- Request a copy of your data, or request deletion of your account and associated game records, by emailing us.
- Manage your subscription from the App Store (Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions).
7. Data retention
Account-linked records are kept while your account is active and for 90 days after deletion to allow reversal. Aggregate analytics are retained per each third party's policy. Discovered- combination cache rows are retained indefinitely because they improve the game for every player.
8. Changes to this policy
We will revise this page when we add new SDKs or change what we collect. Material changes will be flagged in-app.
